Vagabondivas:

This past May fashion celebrity and author Andy Paige of TLC's "Ten Years Younger" came through Knoxville on her way to the Kentucky Derby with her friend and mine, Daniella Cracknel. She purchased several items from the shop.  Hearing that you are my "Vagabondivas" really tickled her.  During her attendance at the four days of festivities for the Derby, she hob-nobbed with owners and breeders and trainers and the like and she sold the idea of a filly named Vagabondiva...Well it took!

Vagabon Diva was foaled in Kentucky on Feb 3^rd this year and is a great-granddaughter of Affirmed. She is very early in her training & won't be eligible for the Kentucky Derby until 2011. But are you thinking like me that when she starts racing it's time for a Vagabondiva field trip?!?!

For lovers of the beautiful art that adorns the store, Vagabondia is fortunate to again host local artist Cynthia Markert. Original art makes a wonderful holiday gift. Please make a date with your girlfriends or families to meet Cynthia and enjoy the festive First Friday atmosphere on Market Square!!! For the first time ever, we will be offering her gorgeous girls in pendants/necklaces, what a great gift!

For the 6th year, I am happy to host returning local jewelry artist, Karen Plum. Karen does exquisite work with freshwater pearls in a wide array of colors, as well as with semi-precious gemstones. In honor of the holiday gift-giving season, we will have Karen's jewelry on display through the end of the year!!!
